Extreme Excitement
While hurriedly walking down the chocolate aisle to avoid temptation today I suddenly stopped dead in my tracks.
For there, on the shelf was a little display lacking in any pomp and circumstance but perhaps the most wonderful thing I've seen in the past wee while.
Our supermarket has started to stock Green & Blacks.
Despite the vow to not by any chocolate today, I had to buy some Maya Gold to be sure I wasn't hallucinating...

Green and Blacks rules. It's practically health food! dark choc has recently been shown to lower your bp. It also contains magnesium and mimics serotonin. I'm sure it must be good for your hormonalness
Thank you doctor! (I think I shall claim that that was definitely a doctor comment - though with a strong overtone of woman!! ;) )
It was more my heart rate than my bp that worried the docs when I was in hospital...but I'm sure the choc helps that too...!

Us nurses are always very very concerned about your nutrition, especially following a hopsital stay, and especially an operation... Therefore, I duly dish out the nusey advice that you should definitely have bought, and should continue to buy G&B's whenever you are at that shop, because you just never know when your appetite might start to wane and that could cause untold numbers of problems! At least with Maya Gold in the cupboard we know you will not just stop eating, which would be the worst thing ever and would mean I had to write a whole new care plan ;)
Mwah! Love you lots and lots! xx
HALELUJAH!!!! As someone who stayed in the southern hemisphere for a year, I can understand the joy, the heart-stopping unspeakable joy of seeing REAL chocolate unexpectedly! Hope it lived up to its hype!
Welshy - Thank you. I feel fully medicated now! MWAH!
Kezzie - glad you understand! :) I had to finish off the Whittakers (at least it is better than fake Cadbury's) before starting the G&B so I think that joy is saved for this avo :)
Argh!!!!! That is the best thing ever!!!
